If you're in Scarborough and on the lookout for a cozy cafe that feels like a warm hug, look no further than Pat's Place. This charming little spot has quickly become a beloved haven for locals and visitors alike, offering a menu that celebrates comforting, hearty food at prices that let you indulge without breaking the bank.

At Pat's Place, you’ll find an array of delightful options that bring a sense of home cooking to your table. Imagine sinking your teeth into a **Mince & Onion Pie** or enjoying a warm **Chicken & Vegetable Hotpot**—both priced at a wallet-friendly £2.75. For those craving something a touch lighter, the **Cheese & Mushroom Quiche** at just £2.20 is a perfect choice, offering a delicate balance of flavors that dance upon your palate.

The cafe is not just about mains; the sides are equally tempting. Crispy **Chipped Potatoes** (£1.80) and fresh **Green Beans** (£0.70) round out your meal, adding that lovely touch of green or crunch to your plate. Don’t forget to save room for dessert! The **Apple & Blackcurrant Crumble with Custard Sauce** (£1.60) is a sweet finale that captivates your senses.

The atmosphere at Pat's Place is one of quiet comfort— a place where you can relax and catch up with friends over a cup of coffee or enjoy a moment of solitude with your book. The spacious seating arrangement ensures that you feel comfortable and well-ventilated, with plenty of natural light pouring in through generous windows. The friendly staff enhances this inviting ambiance, always ready to serve you with a smile.

Customer feedback reflects the charming essence of this cafe. Gareth Swain raves, “Excellent food and excellent pudding; staff are very friendly.” Similarly, Stu Hat highlights the quality of the food and exceptional value, stating that “Lovely staff, serving good quality tasty (hot) food,” making it an excellent choice for breakfast or lunch.

However, not all experiences have been perfect. Some diners like Barry Southey expressed disappointment with certain dishes, but consistent praises from long-time patrons, including NHS worker Mr. Man, showcase the enduring love for Pat's Place. “These guys are fantastic and always serve great food,” he states, further solidifying its position as a community favorite.

In a world where food can often feel rushed and manufactured, Pat's Place stands as a lovely reminder that simple, honest meals are worth celebrating. Whether you’re in need of a hearty breakfast, a quick lunch, or a delightful dessert, this cafe has something special to offer. Visit Pat's Place and experience the genuine hospitality and tasty fare that make it a Scarborough gem!

What a fabulous cafe! Lovely staff, serving good quality tasty (hot) food which offers great value for money (each item individually priced). Sausage, bacon, 2 hash browns, black pudding, toast, beans & a cappuccino for £4.45. Plenty of room between seating. Windows open for good ventilation. Absolutely excellent.
